Practical Wideband Motion Energy Harvester – Presented by Oleg Guziy, Kinergizer BV at the Intelligent Sensor Networks Conference, special edition, 23 May 2017, Messe Düsseldorf Congress Center, Düsseldorf , Germany.
Often introduction of predictive maintenance requires installation of wireless sensors into existing aging plants. Providing power for wireless sensors in a convenient and cost effective way can become a real challenge. This presentation will discuss the possibilities to use motion energy harvesters as an alternative to batteries, maintenance cost and total cost of ownership related to them, harvested power at different vibration levels and field tests in real life conditions.

About Kinergizer BV
Motion energy harvesters convert vibration into electricity that can power wireless sensors. Kinergizer using the patented technology addresses the biggest drawbacks with wireless sensors – limited battery power and the maintenance cost of frequent battery replacement. By harvesting a wide frequency range Kinergizer enables a flexible and practical retrofit of existing industrial assets.
