James Crowther, Global Manufacturing Practice Cisco Consulting Services will be presenting at the ISN Conference and discuss building new networked paradigms in Cities, around the “Internet of Everything”
James will explain how Cisco is focusing on how new models and ecosystems can be created in connecting the unconnected, leveraging the power of connecting people, data , processes and things, which Cisco calls, “The Internet of Everything”
Examples will be given of present user cases as well as how we see the market developing and the opportunities that will be presented.

James Crowther is employed within Cisco Consulting Services, within the Global Manufacturing Practice, based in Amsterdam. CCS (formally IBSG) works with Cisco’s leading customers and executives to accelerate their successes through innovative deployment of technology and business process changes, anticipating and capitalizing on significant market transitions.
Presently, James is leading of Cisco’s move into “Internet of Everything” , including connected (LED) public lighting propositions and new adjacent solutions and business models,inparticular within Cities and Utilities utilizing the benefits that can be unleashed by connecting people, process and data.
James is an active public speaker, recent examples at Meeting of the Minds in San Francisco and annual Smart Cities event in Amsterdam, where he presented on connected lighting and IoT strategies for Cities. James is has a history of creating though leadership across verticals. Most recent example of thought leadership publications was “The time is right for connected lighting” published globally in September 2012 with Philips.
James joined Cisco in 2000. Previously a former principal consultant with Cap Gemini Ernst & Young in Holland, and Business Development Manager at Telia InfoMedia, Crowther also has solid industry experience focusing on applying new technology to marketing, advertising, media and customer loyalty as well as entrepreneurial experience building small a business in telecommunications and digital television services.
