IoT Hackathon ’15

The 4th edition of the IoT Event contained a two-day hackathon – on May 30th and 31st. The IoT Hackathon was organized for creative people, social ‘nerds’, developers, service designers; actually, anyone with interest in technique can develop IoT solutions.

Theme: develop a connected product and/or service to improve your daily life.

Inspired by littleBits – the easiest way to prototype and learn with electronics – and challenged by IoT Academy, KPN, RDM Makerspace, Jakajima and High Tech Campus Eindhoven, the participants were focussing on creating mind boggling product/service combinations based on connected products.

They enjoyed two days of grinding, workshops and coding, while building an Internet of Things product/service combination. Starting from scratch, they created an awesome, though useful result.

At the end of the Hackathon, the teams presented their product/service combination. And the winners were:

Mr. Bin
