Marketplace for business apps brings together business users and App providers
During the ‘Bedrijf Zoekt App’ event today in Bussum, the Enterprise App Store will be launched on this site. The Enterprise App Store is a marketplace for business apps and brings professional users in an easy and accessible way in contact with providers of apps developers.
The Enterprise App Store ensures that business apps more easily will be found by business decision makers and provides practical information on enterprise apps. The following organizations have their mobile application made available for this new marketplace: Navarra, Veliq, Airwatch, IBM, Zenprise, e-Office, Kony, Innerteams, Appsalad, UnitApp, Interchange, AdrsBook, Oberon Interactive, GPXS, Ordina, Pridis en KMC Solutions.
Mark Beermann, Managing Director and co-founder of the Enterprise App Store, states why this marketplace is essential: “The objective of the Enterprise App Store (EAS) is to create a central place where end-users can meet suppliers of enterprise apps. Until today, that does not exist yet, while we see a lot of questions from both sides, including on management (MDM) and application platforms (MAM). The EAS helps to find the right match and facilitates business end-users in their decision making and requirements process. The community manager, and an independent team of experts from the EAS, ensures that customers are brought into contact with the appropriate suppliers.
The organization and Enterprise App Store design lends itself to rapid international growth through local (franchised) partners. ‘Business apps are on the roadmap of every organization, in- and outside the Netherlands, so our focus is global’ states Beermann. The central theme is: let’s get real or let’s not play, with a single aim: growth in diversity and volume of enterprise apps.
