On June 7-8, 2016, the 5th edition of the Internet of Things Event took place at High Tech Campus Eindhoven, in The Netherlands.The event included a conference, workshops and an exhibition.

Over 550 participants registered for the 2-day event that gave insights in the rapidly developing market, in new technologies and in how other businesses apply the new opportunities that are brought by IoT.

The conference covered the following topics:

Internationally renowned speakers from IBM, Ericsson, Space 10/Ikea, SAP, Philips Innovation labs, Fontys FutureMediaLab, ARM, Altran, AT&T, Eindhoven University of Technology, University Racing Eindhoven, European Photonics Industry Consortium, ETI Software, Tymlez, NXP Semiconductors, Business Innovation by Design, VanBerlo, Intrinsic-ID, Globalfoundries, TWNQL, Axians, Cambridge Consultants, Connecterra, Teleena and many more shared their views and opinions on the topics of interest.

Parallel to the conference, workshops were held on “Innovation & Ideation for Internet of Things success” (by Business Innovation by Design), “Develop your own IoT scenario in just 90 minutes on SAP HANA Cloud Platform (HCP)!” (by SAP), “How to implement IoT in your product?” (by Honeywell / Altran) and “Business Modelling & IoT” (by INNOVATION-CIRCLE).

Besides the conference and the workshops, the event also hosted an exhibition, where AAEON, Intelligent Systems / Altran, AT&T, DeltaPatents, digitalSTROM, Rohde & Schwarz, Teleena, ASML, The EMC & Wireless connectivity lab of Philips Innovation labs, Stellar Data Recovery, Tele2 IoT, The IoT Company and Gemalto were present.
